Quest for Justice, LLC (“Q4J”) offers access to its products, services, software, and platforms for legal information and self-help through justicedirect.com (the “Website”) and its mobile application (the “App”) (collectively, the “Services”) subject to acceptance of this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (collectively, the “Policy”). By accessing, obtaining, or using any content, data, materials or information (the “Content”) through use of the Website, or by downloading and installing the App on a mobile phone or other wireless or internet enabled device, users shall agree to Q4J’s Policy. In addition, when using the Services, users shall be subject to any posted policies and applicable guidelines, including any terms or conditions applicable to features provided in conjunction with any of Q4J’s content and service partners. All such policies and guidelines are hereby incorporated by reference into this Policy.If you are using our Services as the employee, agent, or representative of a third party, including an organization (whether incorporated, registered, or not) or a natural person, you are confirming that you have the actual authority to bind this third party to this Policy, and you are accepting this Policy on behalf of that third party.Q4J reserves the right to change this Policy at any time.This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Services and applies solely to the Personal Information (hereinafter defined) that you provide in connection with your use of the Services. Collection, Use, Retention, and Sharing of Your Personal Information

Q4J may collect, use, retain and share your Personal Information.Effective January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) provides that Personal Information includes the following information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“Personal Information”). Q4J only collects those categories of Personal Information that are identified below in bold:(1) Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, internet protocol address, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers;(2) Any categories of Personal Information described in subdivision (e) of Section 1798.80 of California Civil Code, which includes “any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual, including, but not limited to, his or her name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information”, but does not include “publicly available information that is lawfully made available to the general public from federal, state, or local government records”;(3) Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law;(4) Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies;(5) Biometric information;(6) Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement;(7) Geolocation data;(8) Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information;(9) Professional or employment-related information;(10) Education information, defined as information that is not publicly available personally identifiable information as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Sec. 1232g; 34 C.F.R. Part 99);(11) Inferences drawn from any of the information identified in this subdivision to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes. Q4J may collect your e-mail address, name, physical address, telephone number, and IP address. Further, we may collect the information you provide while generating or editing documents for our Services. If you contact our customer service personnel, we may record the phone call or retain the email string or chat transcript for quality assurance purposes. If you access the Services through one of our third-party providers, we collect information regarding the request. If you receive a Q4J membership through your employer or other association, we will also collect information about your association with the sponsoring entity. Q4J may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your postal code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites. Q4J may choose not to delete customer information other than upon customer request. However, Q4J reserves the right to delete customer information for members with a free account status at any time.Also, information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Q4J. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, operating system, cookie information, referring website addresses, and Internet service provider. Q4J also collects geolocation information based on visitors' IP addresses. In order to better understand how users use the Services and to improve its Services, Q4J may also collect information about your use of the Services, such as pages visited, links clicked, text entered, and mouse movements.Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose Personal Information through the Services to third parties, this information may be collected, used, retained, and shared by them. Q4J encourages you to review the privacy statements of the third parties or services you access from our Service so that you can understand how those third parties collect, use, retain, and share your information. Q4J is not responsible for the privacy statements, privacy practices, or content on websites or services outside of those we operate.If you request us to do so, we will share your Personal Information with business partners so that they can offer you products or services that you have expressed interest in. In those cases, your unique Personal Information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party without your express consent.Additionally, if you access our Services through a third party, and, while doing so, you provide information to them, the third party may collect, use, retain, and share the information you provide pursuant to their privacy policy. In such cases, the third party's collection, retaining, use, and sharing of your Personal Information is governed by their privacy policy and not Q4J’s Privacy Policy, except with respect to Personal Information that Q4J itself collections, uses, retains, and shares.Please note that any "do not track" signals sent by your web browser or other mechanism have no effect on the collection of your Personal Information by Q4J. Such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the Personal Information and there may be circumstances in which the law does not require or allow removal even if requested. We use third parties such as Google Analytics for data collection and analytics to collect, use, retain, and share your website usage and browser information on our behalf when you use our Services. These parties are limited to using Personal Information to provide support for our Services. Note that Personal Information does not include information that is lawfully made available from federal, state, or local government records (“Publicly Available Information”). Publicly Available Information does not mean biometric information collected by a business about a consumer without the consumer’s knowledge.Personal Information does not include information that relates to a group or category of consumers, from which individual consumer identities have been removed, that is not linked or reasonably linkable to any consumer or household, including via a device (“Aggregate Consumer Information”). Aggregate Consumer Information does not mean one or more individual consumer records that have been deidentified. Personal Information does not include information that cannot reasonably be used to infer information about, or otherwise be linked to, a particular consumer (“Deidentified Information”) provided that the business that possesses the information:(1) Takes reasonable measures to ensure that the information cannot be associated with a consumer or household.(2) Publicly commits to maintain and use the information in deidentified form and not to attempt to reidentify the information, except that the business may attempt to reidentify the information solely for the purpose of determining whether its deidentification processes satisfy the requirements of this subdivision.(3) Contractually obligates any recipients of the information to comply with all provisions of this subdivision.

Use of Google Users' DataThe Services (including the Website and the App) use Google Sign-In and its application programming interfaces (“APIs”) to access the following Google users’ data: email addresses, first name, and last name. Collection, use, retention, and sharing of this Google user data is strictly limited to the practices disclosed in this Privacy Policy published by Q4J to its users.The manners in which the Services access Google user data are via Google Sign-In and APIs. Google users’ email addresses are used for emailing purposes, and Google users’ first and last names are used for displaying these items of information within the App and within emails to these users. Once collected, the aforementioned Google users’ data is stored within a Q4J’s database and may be shared as explained below in the following section of this Policy: “Purposes for Collection, Use, Retention, and Sharing of Your Personal Information”.
